Situated on the south side of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts’ Grand Plaza, this 10-story theater features an unprecedented vertical “stacked” fly tower design that eliminates the traditional distinction between stage and auditorium.
The facility is designed to provide a truly flexible performing arts venue. Balconies, stage and proscenium, can be hydraulically moved to create different stage and seating configurations and retractable exterior glass walls allow both indoor and outdoor theatrical experiences.
Energy conservation techniques include a radiant floor system, under floor air distribution, heat recovery system, and low temperature and low-volume air distribution for support areas.
