The location of this tower in Atlanta’s Arts District gives tenants ready access to arts, entertainment, hospitality and dining. The project was developed in cooperation with the Woodruff Arts Center master plan, including the construction of a gracious plaza that serves as 1180 Peachtree’s front door and is planned to serve as a gateway to future Woodruff Arts Center facilities.
The richly textured curtain walls of the north and south facades extend 100 ft. above the roof line, arching gently towards each other like two outstretched arms reaching to the sky. This gives the building a dynamic presence on the skyline – especially when the illuminated tower is viewed at night.
1180 Peachtree is the first building in the Southeast to be certified LEED-CS Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council. Its green features include a unique water management system that circumvents the need for city water for irrigation.
